1987, American suburbs.

A typical small town. Houses, schools, stores… everything in place. But the people? Gone. No signs, no clues. Just silence.

In one untouched home, someone finds a TV still on. Next to it, an old Japanese console and a black cat lying motionless, watching. The cartridge inside has no label — just a name scratched in by hand: Purrrification.

A few weeks later, we receive that same cartridge by mail. No return address.

As we dig into the code, we realize something’s off.

Too old to be new. Too new to be from the '80s.

And then… that music. Those glitches. That feeling.

Someone made this game.

Someone else made sure we played it.

An innocent-looking platformer. Jump, collect, progress. But something feels off. Levels shift, sounds distort, the screen... reacts. This is more than just a game. How far are you willing to go?

  • 23 playable levels with increasing difficulty
  • Numerous hidden easter eggs to discover
  • Intentional glitches that can alter the gameplay
  • A progressively distorted game experience
  • Environments, sounds, and UI that change over time
  • Metanarrative elements and unexpected behaviors
  • Nothing is what it seems — even the menu can deceive

Just giving my thoughts on this, aside from the ai short little videos after beating the level (which I did get a sense of uneasy feeling) , this game had me with a few jumpscares, I enjoyed the UI changing from time to time and really love the style of the game, the entire game reminds me of those old super mario games, over all really like what ya did to be honest. And now my theory part of my mind kicks in. Im think this is something to do with the development......game development im assuming, also I think the cat really plays a big part of this entire story. But.....I think thats all I have in mind for now, and I will keep my eyes on this development of this game, can't wait to play the full version

Hi, thank you for the comment.
Yes, you guessed right, but I won't spoil you the rest of the story for now, but I can say you are pretty close to what the game is about. In a couple of weeks the game will be ready for the full release, I'm looking forward to hear you feedback when you will complete the full version of the game

I really hope that AI-generated footage and creepypasta-ass transitions get removed in the final version...
